After My Animation was completed I showed it to various people I knew, asking them why they enjoyed it, why it was interesting, how they believed it was created and if it could be improved or not.
90% of the people that commented on the video extremely liked it:
"Awesome!!... Must have taken some doing."
This I believed was very successful and was in regards to both of my animations.
Although, I found it very difficult to understand and create a form of animation, I also found it really interesting and challenging.
This was shown, when I tried to create my 2D animation, I had trouble with the size, unfortunatly creating it to large to animate, originally which i though was a good idea, but sadly set me back, thus taking up valuable time.
I had further comments onto how i could improve my animation, making it look more realistic:
"Do you reckon that see-through nylon cord might be better for tying around the figures next time, so it ain't as noticable?"
This I took into consideration, and when I next come to creating an animation I will now consider using thin nylon cord to create the illusion of the characters jumping.
The most popular scene from my main animation, the 3D animation, was when the alien (Aliens) spews acid onto its opponent, which actually took moments and was a sudden idea to include it, and had outstanding results.
"Brilliant job though Callum... LOVE the way you get Alien spewing that stuff out! :-)"
This comment thus made me very proud of what i have achieved, and although i enjoyed being creative and bringing an inanimate object to life, I sadly dont think its my area of expertise

Stop Motion Animation Proposal
Stopmotion Animation
proposal
This is my proposal regarding my upcoming animation, which
will be based in 3D/Stopmotion. For my 3D animation, I will be naming it as
such, “Titan Fighter” following suit from other fighter platform genres such as
“Street Fighter”.
The medium I will be using for my project will be
Stopmotion, a use of stopping and slightly moving a 3d model, too hopefully
achieve 24 FPS and so it will run smoothly and look professional.
The intended audience I have selected and to hopefully
target, will be gamers aged between 18 and mid 20’s, this is due to the violent
content which will be contained within my animation.
The indication of my style will be that of a game
scene/battle of, possibly intended to be a trailer for an upcoming game. It
will contain violence, possibly containing aspects of horror and shock.
The content will contain a battle sequence between 2 – 4 3D
action figures battling in a ‘street fighter esque’ style, including jumping
animations and fast paced motion, with a fast pace. It will contain gore, to
signify damage, with a health bar for each character dropping as they become
damaged. Thus in the final sequence one character will become triumphant.
I am intending my Stopmotion animation to be 60 seconds or
over (within reason) with a large scale set up, with hanging rig and set piece.
Second days activity
Todays activity
Today i spent most of my time, finishing off the build for my set peice for my 3D animation, adding the health bars for the fight sequence.
After that was complete, and i could not continue further until another date, i began the construction and build of my shadow cut out animation, buolding a skyline and stage props to prop the characters upon, starting very basic now, but further details shall be added at a later date, giving it more authenticty and increase the dramatic atmosphere.
Pictures will be uploaded at a later date.

For my 3D animation i spent the majority of my day building and painting my set, after a while it was starting to show structure, i am planning on adding various details such as scratch marks and the umbrella logo to the background, also blood stains to add to the violent atmosphere i will be creating.

Animation preparation
Preparation
In prep for my animation i looked into various forms of artistic work which i could implement into my animation as such:

Using this Idea Of shadow Cut outs, I will be creating a short 2D animation, using rigging, and 24 FPS.
For my 3D animation, I have been looking into short animation using 'Action Figures', for example
street fighter style techiniques and battle sequences. I will build a set for which i can stage my battle sequence.

Cut Out Animation
Cut out Animation
Recently we created a cut out animation, using cut outs and iStopmotion we were able to create a short film including audio and movement, the outcome was a short humorous video.
It was reasonably simple to understand how cut out animation works and how it was possible to create a short animation using nothing but a few drawings. This was the final outcome:
Finally, I believe it was successful in creating a believable moving character which was quite humorous.
