Cut out Animation

Recently we created a cut out animation, using cut outs and iStopmotion we were able to create a short film including audio and movement, the outcome was a short humorous video.

It was reasonably simple to understand how cut out animation works and how it was possible to create a short animation using nothing but a few drawings. This was the final outcome:

Finally, I believe it was successful in creating a believable moving character which was quite humorous.

Claymation

Claymation

As a introduction into claymation, we created morph like characters in which we created a short story,

added audio such as soundtracks and voice overs. To do this, we became versed using the software iStopmotion. This software was reasonably easy to use, using 24 fps second to create one second of anaimation.

After many shots, and much patience the final result was this:

Although very basic movement was used we were successful in creating a short animation, which included movement, and audio.
